Hart's Jewelry & Gifts The building Hart's Jewelry and Gifts is located in was built in 1893 with the main floor being the original Cowboy Bar and Saloon and the upstairs a 16 room brothel. The building has been many things over the years. Most notably, a working brothel until 1964, a bakery, book and record store, shoe store, and bed and breakfast. Sean and Delores Hart purchased the building in 1999 and began renovations. Sean spent 2 1/2 years turing the upstairs into their home with a sauna, steam room, movie theater, spectacular living space complete with a "to die for" kitchen. Sean opened up the space with 41 arched doorways, windows, and veneration see-thrus. The space, with its 14 foot ceilings, stain glass windows and lighting, and over the top artistic decor, has been written about in newspapers, magazines, and featured on Home and Garden Television. The main floor, which is now Hart's, is the creation of Dolores Hart and features Jewelry, art, and gifts from around the world. Dolores and her husband make many trips throughout the year shopping for new and unusual items for the store. Many of which are one of a kind.
